Mr. and Mrs. Smith work for a company in the town. They live in a small nice place 30 miles away from where they work. They have a car but they usually go to work by train. They are never late to work.

They are always at work at 9.00 o’clock and they usually leave at 5.00 p.m. but sometimes they leave at 5.30 if they haven’t finished the work of the day.

They go back home at about 7.00 p.m. and Mrs. Smith always starts cooking while her husband does other household chores to help her. He often listens to the radio and sometimes Mrs. Smith sings along to the tune of the songs he listens to.

They always watch television after dinner and they sometimes read the newspaper or a book. They never go to bed after 11 p.m.
